I am a native of Morehead City North Carolina, having been raised on the Crystal Coast of North Carolina for most my life. I was exposed to photography through my late grandfather Reginald Lewis, a well known local photographer who documented this region back in the 1950′s – 70′s. He has been an inspiration to me and instilled a love of photography in me. Growing up on the North Carolina coast I’d follow him around as he photographed the local fishing charter fleet of downtown Morehead City waterfront. My love of photographing nature, wildlife, and the coastal lifestyle
(Boating, Fishing, Surfing) caused me to created Coastal Carolina Photography. I am a new and upcoming business here on the Crystal Coast. I’ve quickly developed an eye for the unique coastal compositions and find interesting approaches to everyday subjects. I’ve learned while growing up watching my grandfather that good photography is all about learning to
SEE and having a genuine interest in the subjects you are photographing. I love all types of photography from Commercial, Fine Art, Portraiture, to Documentary. I’m a graduate of
Carteret Community College Photographic Technology Program in Morehead City, NC.
